4 months old!

Graeme at 4 months
The moment of impact
Graeme is 4 months old. We can't believe it! He's getting bigger and stronger and smarter every day. His checkup went well (minus the 10 seconds where he was shackled and attacked with needles). Here are his current stats:

Height: 25 inches
Weight: 15lbs 9 oz.
Head: 16.5inches

He is in the 50th percentile across the board now. A huge deviation from the 70/90/25 that was his 2-month checkup.

Here are some 4 month highlights..

Look Ma! Hands and Feet!
• Discovered both hands and feet! Graeme uses his hands to manhandle anything he can get in them including, but not limited to: books, toys, blankets, feet, stuffed animals and Mr. Sims.

• Tongues aren't just for eating. When he is in a silly mood it's spends a lot of time poking out of his mouth. Perhaps he is mimicking Sims - note the resemblance...

• Graduated to size two diapers. We've been trying to use up some 1-2s we got before he was born and just are glad to be done with them, they were no match for the amount of 'stuff' that comes outta this guy.

Trouble
• Started on rice cereal. Graeme has been eating a few tablespoons of cereal in the morning and is slowly getting the hang of it. He is pretty distracted by what is going on around him along with his bib so getting his attention and the food directly in his mouth is a challenge. We have accepted that it's a process and are confident he'll be eating bowls full in no time.

• Another ear infection. Well, it's undetermined whether it was a new one or the resurgence of the old one, but Graeme is on Amoxicilin for the second time in 3 weeks. He's on a stronger dosage this time in efforts to knock out the infection for good. Ha!
