We are a few weeks belated in posting this one, but Graeme turned seven months in April (my how time flies). You'll have to forgive Graeme on this one, but he had just woken up from a nap.

On the road again
We're packing up and heading to Arizona tomorrow, Scottsdale to be exact. With weather in the sunny and 90 degree range we're
looking forward to lots of golf and pool time!
We also have the ability to blog remotely so we hope to keep you up-to-date on all the happenings down south.
In the last week Graeme hit two milestones. First, he turned 7 months old! Details to follow in another post. Secondly, he got to ride in the cart at Target all by himself! He had a great time working over a bag of salad while we shopped.

Sunday at the Masters
Graeme is wearing green this Sunday in celebration of the final round at the Masters. He is still hoping that Mr. McDowell will be able to pull out a win (we didn't have the heart to tell him that he didn't even make the cut).

Swimmingly
We just got back from Graeme's first swimming lesson and it went great! Here he is ready to go swimming (or the title fight), insert Eye of the Tiger theme song here.

Close up of his cute turtle slippers. Thanks Adam and Jess!

Class was at Eagle Ridge Junior High in Savage. It's a good sized pool with a viewing area up above. Graeme's class consisted of 6-month olds up to two year olds. Half of the class everyone was together, the other half we split up. Graeme had a great time. We practiced front and back floating, kicking and splashing and sang a couple of songs. We had free time at the end and Graeme played with a ball that we chased around the pool. We're looking forward to watching Graeme progress an for Matt to be able to take him to a few lessons. Hopefully then I can tagalong and take some action shots!

Random updates
Life's been pretty boring for us lately. Matt's still really busy working 6 days a week and late nights so as a family, our quality time is spent around the breakfast table trying to get more food in Graeme's mouth then on his clothes. This is Graeme's happiest time of day which is nice!
Let's see, what have we been up to? Oh, last weekend we celebrated our friend Des' birthday the only way a pretty 30-year-old girl with the maiden name Granowski knows how, at Nye's Polonaise! A Polish restaurant and polka lounge in St. Anthony Main. There was a lot of delicious meat, potatoes, sauerkraut and pierogies.

Matt's enormous slab of prime rib.

Amber's sausage, kraut and assorted pierogies.
I've been horrible at taking photos so that was all we got for the night. After dinner was some drinks and dancing. The headache Sunday morning was an obvious indicator that we had a good time.
Graeme was pretty out of sorts on Sunday and we thought for sure he was on the verge of another ear infection. He spent a good portion of the afternoon on Matt's lap like this:

Fortunately, it didn't amount to anything and he's been a happy little boy all week. He brought home some artwork from school he's been working on.

If it isn't obvious, it's a butterfly on the left and a sun on the right. We are running out of fridge real estate!
This weekend is our first swimming lesson and the start of spring cleaning! I'm actually looking forward to it this year, it's been a long winter!
