Viva la Mexico!

We spent a week in Cabo at the end of June. Graeme split time between the Grandparents. Lets just say we all got what we wanted: Graeme, spoiled and Matt and Amber, some much needed R & R.
Cabo is situated at the most southern tip of the Baja Peninsula also know as 'Land's End'...cue ominous music here...

Now you might be thinking-Mexico? With all the drug related killings and whatnot? Are you crazy? Note a couple of things:
1. We flew into Cabo and transferred from the airport to the hotel by a hotel shuttle.
2. The resort was gated and guarded by security.
3. Oprah and Clooney have houses there, how dangerous can it be?
4. We didn't leave the resort...except for that one time*...
We're lazy vacationers, like, seriously lazy. Sleep in, eat, lay by the pool, read, complain about how tired we feel while we sip cocktails and alternate dips in the pool with naps in the sun. It's rough.
Our 'ocean view'-a stretch we thought!

Land's End

A cruise ship appeared over night

Look, Ma, I'm on a jet ski!

*After several days of relaxation we decided to do something. We rented jet skis and spent an hour running waves on the Sea of Cortes. We explored the Bay area including the harbor, the arch formation at Land's End, Lover's Beach and got as close as we could to the Cruise Ship. So. Fun.
Matt too!

Amazing. Two giant seals sunning on a rock.
